Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Description
I've been offline for a while and now trying to catch up on my feeds. While doing so, I noticed that hitting the back button after viewing a news item will reset the overall list so you end up at the top of the list again. That makes it fairly cumbersome to check a longer list and view the items of interest.
Steps to Reproduce / Expected & Actual behavior
This only happens when "load new items upon scroll" is activated and new items have been loaded. Without that setting or close to the top of the list, everything behaves as it should, i.e. the app remembers the position on the list.
Device
Updated the newest Fdroid version from a couple of days ago, but it appears it was already the same in older versions.
Ironically, it appears like the function that loads new articles upon scroll is actually completely defunct in version 125030711-github.
@Guthib what issues are you experiencing?
I'm fixing the initial issue on the latest release, and I'm not seeing any issue.
I think I've figured it out. Turn off "Show number of unread articles". Restart Reader for Selfoss. Result: Load new articles upon scroll won't work anymore.
Now that I know that, I've turned "show number of unread articles" on again - problem solved. Could be an issue for others, though.
Wow, thanks for this ! It will be fixed with the remaining issues.
Thanks for taking care of it!
